Bearings are among the highest-consequence low-cost items on any plant. A seized bearing on a critical pump takes a process unit down, and in the Eastern Province the failure is rarely the bearing itself — it is the wait for a genuine replacement. We have expanded our Al Jubail holding specifically to close that gap.
What has been added
The expansion covers the four families that account for the overwhelming majority of maintenance callouts we handle:

Alongside the bearings themselves, we now hold the accessories that determine whether a replacement lasts: adapter sleeves, withdrawal sleeves, lock nuts and washers, seals, and the correct greases for high-temperature and high-speed duty.
Genuine parts and why the paperwork matters
Counterfeit bearings are a persistent problem across the region, and they are convincing. The packaging is copied accurately; the difference is in the steel cleanliness, the heat treatment and the geometric tolerances — none of which are visible on receipt. What you can verify is the supply chain.
- Every bearing we supply comes through an authorised distribution channel with documented provenance.
- Manufacturer part numbering and batch marking are checked against the carton on goods-in.
- Certificates of conformity are issued with the delivery, not chased afterwards.
- Anti-counterfeit verification codes are checked with the manufacturer where the range supports it.
A counterfeit bearing usually runs. It just does not run for as long as your maintenance interval assumed it would — and that is what makes it dangerous.
Selecting correctly, not just quickly
When a bearing fails early, the replacement selection is worth revisiting rather than repeating. Our applications desk works through load direction and magnitude, operating speed against the limiting speed of the bearing type, shaft and housing fits, expected misalignment, operating temperature, and the sealing and lubrication regime. Getting the internal clearance class right — C3 rather than CN, for instance, on a hot or interference-fitted application — resolves a surprising share of repeat failures.
We can also cross-reference between manufacturers where a like-for-like part is unavailable, and confirm interchangeability on dimensions, clearance and cage material before anything is ordered.
